Time for a jog? Nope....not for me, time for a blog! ;-)
So, Averie has completed her first week of school. Mrs. Anglin deserves a big ol' Congratulations! I have never seen my daughter so tired in all her 6-year-old life. (ok, maybe once.) She nearly fell asleep tonight brushing her teeth.
Highlights from her week included a trip to the school library (This is gonna happen WEEKLY!), gym class, something funny that flew out of Mrs. Anglin's hand and across the room & everyone laughed...., riding the bus all week, to & from school, she saw somebody walking in the hallway with bandages on her leg & she walked with a limp, a classroom visit from the guidance counselor who discussed what problems are and what the kids can do to help solve the problems, everyone wanted her lunch today (apparently the lunch at school was "disgusting looking", oh, and not to mention Mrs. Anglin's RULES. She has too many rules. Averie doesn't like her rules.
She'll learn. She's gonna learn that she's not in charge..... she doesn't get to make up all the rules!
So, a big hearty Congratulations to the wonderful Mrs. Anglin! My child is completely worn out. Good thing it was only a 4 day week & she has the weekend to recover before starting all over again on Monday. Whew. It's tough to grow up.
